HR SERVICES CLIENT MANAGER

Role Purpose: As part of our growth strategy for the business, we are currently looking to recruit several experienced Employee Relations Practitioners to join our consulting practice. This role will act as a key member of our HR service delivery team providing an opportunity to use their HR experience to design and deliver solutions for a portfolio of clients.


Working within an experienced team, the role of HR Client Services Manager will focus on advising and supporting our extensive client base with solutions focused employee relations advice across a range of key sectors.


Job Responsibilities:  

  1. Provision of HR Advice & Support to an Assigned Portfolio of Clients

Providing advice, support and guidance across the full employee life cycle, taking account of best practice and legislative requirements.

  • Provide effective HR and Employment Law coaching and advice to assigned clients across a diverse range of sectors in operational queries such as terms and conditions, sickness absence, performance improvement, complaints and disciplinaries.

  • Support clients to critically analyse complex employee relations issues to identify the most appropriate policies and approaches to support resolution.

  • Draft and review documentation to ensure compliance, mitigate risk and support the effective conclusion of employee relations issues.

  • Proactively support clients with updates on changing HR practices and/or legislative developments, ensuring policies and procedures are updated.

  • In conjunction with Senior HR Service Client Managers, support the completion of workplace investigations, as appropriate to your experience i.e. as note taker, lead investigation, coordinator etc. across Bullying / Harassment / Grievance Investigations, Disciplinary / Appeals.

  • Deliver consultancy projects to provide more comprehensive support, when required in line with a pre-agreed proposal, budget and timeframes.

  • Design and deliver remote and/or in person training programmes across key HR topics to employees, team leaders and management teams within your client teams or to Adare’s strategic partners.


  1. Client Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, translating their needs into easy to implement actions, and delivery of impactful solutions.

  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with an assigned portfolio of clients through consistent communication and a deep understanding of their business needs and strategic goals.

  • Provide clear, timely updates on progress, risks, and outcomes through email, calls, structured reporting or regular meetings (as required), maintaining transparency and alignment.

  • Proactively identify and address client concerns, issue or project risks, and scope changes, ensuring smooth delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Progress the development of incremental business with existing clients by identifying and qualify opportunities to resolve client challenges through the provision of additional support services to your assigned portfolio of clients.

  • Develop and present tailored proposals that align with client needs and showcase Adare’s solutions.

  • Ensure solutions deliver measurable value, offering guidance and thought leadership to help clients make informed decisions and achieve their goals/ desired outcomes.

  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key decision-makers to support a long-term mutually beneficial business relationship.

  • Work closely with service delivery teams to communicate client needs and support the implementation of agreed improvements.

  • Propose innovative ways to enhance the client experience based on client feedback and operational observations to ensure that day-to-day service delivery reflects client priorities and expectations.

  • Excellence in work practices: valid, accurate, complete and timeous completion of time records, regular client reviews and project status updates to support accurate client billing cycles.

  • Maintaining records of client advice given, action items agreed on our shared systems.

  • Follow internal processes on document version control, data privacy protocols, and quality assurance checklists.


The successful candidate will need the following qualifications, experience and skills to meet the demands of the role:


Qualifications

  • A primary degree, preferably in HR or similar (Essential)

  • Ideally working towards a post-graduate Diploma in Employment Law / Employment Law Diploma Law Society and / or MBA (Desirable)

  • CIPD qualification (Desirable)


Experience

  • At least 3 years relevant HR / Employment Law Experience within a busy HR/ Legal environment or HR consulting practice (Essential)

  • Exposure to a broad range of HR initiatives and employee / industrial relations issues (Essential)

  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR practices (Essential)

  • Full clean driving licence, access to a car and ability to travel.

  • The role requires ongoing learning and development in terms of keeping abreast of employment legislation, case law and ER/IR/ Employment Law trends, which is encouraged and supported by the Company.
